Test the code before you print anything
Most wedding QR codes fail for one of three reasons: the link goes somewhere guests cannot use, the upload was never completed end to end, or the printed code is too small for the distance people stand at. Ten minutes now avoids reprinting a hundred cards.
Test it from a signed-out phone
Open the downloaded code on one phone and scan it with another. Use a phone that is not signed in to any of your accounts — the same kind of phone your guests will use.
Complete a real upload

Putting a QR code on your wedding invitation
An invitation code is a different job from the code on your table cards. It is printed months earlier, at a fraction of the size, and it usually sends people somewhere other than your photo album. Switch the destination above to wedding website or RSVP form and the card wording follows.
Point it at your website or RSVP form
Invitations go out months before the album is set up, and an album that does not exist yet cannot receive scans. Send the invitation code to your wedding website or your RSVP form, and keep the album code for the day itself.
Print it at 20 mm or wider
A code stays readable up to roughly ten times its own width, so 20 mm is comfortable at arm's length on an invitation. Leave a clear margin on all four sides, and avoid printing it over a photograph or a dark wash.
A printed code cannot be repointed
This generator makes a static code: the link is held in the pattern itself. If your RSVP form moves later, the invitations already printed still point at the old one. Confirm the destination before you order the print run.
Most couples end up with two codes: one on the invitation for details and replies, and one on the day for photos. If you would rather print a single code, point the invitation at a wedding website page and add the album link to that page once the album exists.

How big should the printed code be?
